Firstly, to avoid confusion I would like to say that our import/wholesale/distribution business is here to stay and we are excited to keep growing! We will still be working with all the same winemakers and selling to Massachusetts restaurants and shops.
That said, after almost 40 years we’ve made the difficult decision to close our retail shop in mid-June.
The store selections will live on through our imports + distribution business. We are lucky to be in an amazing community with a wonderful + growing selection of independent shops that sell great wine.
Thank you for supporting our small unconventional shop! Cheers to the last 40 years and to the future of Violette Imports that WE are very excited about.
